Sealants

Construction Chemicals stock one of the largest ranges of silicone sealants in the UK as well as silicone sealant removal gel to chemically digest cured and uncured silicone. Whatever the application we have a sealant to meet customer requirements. High modulus, low modulus and general-purpose silicone sealants, high performance MS polymer sealants including Crystal Clear are available in a range of colours. Whether the application is internal, external, joinery or kitchen and bathroom we have a product. Also in the range are expanding foam sealants in hand held or gun grade containers. For adhesion to lead we have Leadseal which is used to seal valleys or gulleys.

Construction Chemicals Multi-Purpose Silicone is a high-modulus, acetoxy curing silicone sealant. It is based on highly quality, one component durable elastic based on polysiloxanes. Available in Clear, White, Brown and Black.

Pro-Bond 2000 is paintable and can be applied in damp conditions. Pro-Bond 2000 is ideal for use in below ground tanking situations for sealing around service pipes. Intumescent Acrylic is a one part, water-based sealant suitable for low movement joints in most internal applications. An integral part of the FIRESTOP System of passive fire rated products.

The smokeless, non toxic features of Intumescent Acrylic Sealant makes it very desirable in areas where safety is important, i.e., public areas, transport terminals, commercial buildings and confined areas like tunnels.

Intumescent Acrylic Sealant is also generally recommended for most internal applications such as door casings, acoustic sealing and partitions where a low movement, fire-rated joint is required.
